ABB DI811 connects 48 VDC field-status signals to S800 I/O. Its 16 current-sinking inputs are divided into two individually isolated groups of eight. Each group has a process-voltage supervision input; loss of the supervised voltage can be reported through the ModuleBus as a channel-related error.

DI811 is an S800 I/O digital input module. ABB describes S800 I/O as a distributed modular I/O system connected to parent controllers through industry-standard fieldbus technology.
ABB does not designate a direct replacement for DI811. A 24 V
digital input is not a like-for-like substitute; field voltage,
grouping, supervision, MTU compatibility and keying must all match
the installed arrangement.
