Overview of gigabit network switch
- IEEE802.3z/AB 1000Mbps 4 port Gigabit Ethernet Switches supports
two types media for network connection and switching such as
10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX.
- The switch is designed with a switch controller and buffer memory
that connects two types segments to operate smoothly.
- The Switch got 2 RJ45 port 10/100/1000Base-T and 2 SFP port
1000Base-T/SX/LX. All the 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports support Half
or Full Duplex modes.
- All SFP ports support only 1000Mbps and Full-Duplex modes.
- With external power unit, it provides good stability and
reliability.

Installing the 4 port Gigabit Switch
- Attach a SFP Module to SFP Cage on the Switch.
- Attach fiber cable from the SFP on the Switch to the fiber
network.. The fiber connections must be matched: transmit socket to
receive socket.
- Attach a UTP cable from the TP network device to the RJ45 port on
the Switch.
- Connect the power adapter to the Switch and check that the Power
LED lights up. The TP Act and SFP LEDs will light when all the
cable connections satisfactory.
Checklist
Before you installing the Switch, verify that the package contains
the following:
- The 4 port TP-SFP Gigabit Switch.
- AC-DC Power Adapter.
- User Manual.
