However, the Fourier transform—essential for converting spectral data into depth information—requires uniformly spaced data in wavenumber space (k-space). This mismatch forces conventional systems to employ software resampling algorithms, which introduce computational overhead and potential signal distortion through interpolation errors.


    ST830E eliminates this compromise through an innovative optical path that performs equal-interval sampling directly at the hardware level. The interference spectrum captured by the spectrometer can undergo direct Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) without any resampling preprocessing.
