piston to the system.
Compensates for belt elongation
A tensioner pulley compensates for the belt's natural tendency to
stretch over time.
Prevents belt slippage
A tensioner pulley prevents the belt from slipping or jumping off
other components.
Tensioners can be manual or automatic. Manual tensioners require
the user to set the tension by rotating the tensioner unit and
locking it in place.
