EB401-50 YOKOGAWA ER Bus Interface Function Master Module Communication Module Dual-Redundant

Description:

A distributed control system (DCS) is a platform that automatically controls and operates a factory or industrial process.

DCS integrates the following into one automation system: Human Machine Interface (HMI), logic solver, historian, common database, alarm management and common engineering suite.

CENTUM VP has a simple and universal architecture, consisting of a human-machine interface, a field control station and a control network. It supports not only continuous and batch process control, but also production operations management.

ER Bus can be branched from FCU up to 4 segments.Tomake single configuration,EB401 must be installed in an odd-number slot of ANB10 or AFF50,and must be coverd dummy module (ADCV01) on the right side.

By installing two modules of these in the ESB Bus Node Unit or the Compact Field Control Unit (for FIO), dual-redundant ER bus can be configured.
