Structural features
Plastic wheel: usually made of high-strength, wear-resistant
plastic material. The design of the large wheel can increase the
contact area with the moving parts, make the force more uniform,
and also reduce the wear on the moving parts. In addition, the
plastic material has good insulation performance and light weight,
which helps to reduce the cost and installation difficulty of the
entire limiter.
Adjustable arm: The arm is generally connected to the main body of
the limiter by a shaft or a pin, and can be rotated within a
certain angle range. The length and angle of the arm are usually
adjustable to adapt to different installation positions and travel
requirements of moving parts. By adjusting the length and angle of
the arm, the trigger position of the limiter can be accurately set
to improve the accuracy of the limit control.
Self-reset function: The self-reset structure is an important
feature of the travel switch limiter. When the moving part touches
the plastic wheel and the arm rotates a certain angle, the arm can
automatically return to its initial position after the moving part
leaves the wheel. This function is usually achieved by a built-in
spring or elastic element. The spring stores energy when the arm is
rotated. When the external force disappears, the spring releases
the energy and drives the arm back to its original position, ready
for the next trigger.
