the steel tubes delivered to company. We will make sure the
compositions and specifications match the inspection report form

Whole rod Heat treated significantly increases rod life
Rod Pin thread crest is hardened to nominal 50-55 HRC to eliminate
damaging ‘adhesion’ wear Eliminates the transfer of wear material
back and forth as seen between threads of equal hardness, leading
to large scale galling and joint seizing Heat treatment will
greatly improve the material strength and increase the thread wear
life of the rods and casings. We conduct either tru-wall or both
ends heat treatment to the tube body. After heat treatment,
strength, hardness, straightness and concentrically of the treated
tubes will be tested in our lab.

Heat treatment will greatly improve the material strength and
increase the thread wear life of the rods and casings. We conduct
either tru-wall or both ends heat treatment to the tube body. After
heat treatment, strength, hardness, straightness and concentricity
of the treated tubes will be tested in our lab.

The AQ drill rod is one of the smallest and lightest in the “Q”
series, typically used for shallow-to-medium depth drilling where
smaller core samples are sufficient. Its compact size makes it
ideal for highly maneuverable rigs and applications requiring
minimal disturbance to the ground.
AQ rods are often employed in initial exploration, geotechnical
investigations, and environmental sampling where quick penetration
and detailed stratigraphic data from smaller cores are prioritized.
