A 4 - way switch has four terminals and two sets of toggle
positions. When the switch is flipped up, current can flow through
two of the terminals. When it is flipped down, current flows
through the other two terminals. It is used in combination with two
3 - way switches, with the 4 - way switch in the middle. The 3 -
way switches are placed at either end of the circuit. The traveler
wires run between the 3 - way and 4 - way switches. By changing the
positions of the 3 - way and 4 - way switches, the circuit can be
opened or closed to control the on - off state of the light.
Structure and Appearance
A 4 - way switch usually has two brass - colored terminal screws
and two black or other darker - colored ones, along with a green
ground terminal. The two types of basic 4 - way switches are toggle
and decora. Toggle switches have a lever that flips up or down,
while decora switches have a more modern, flat - panel design.

gear interlock protection device inside. When the switching
conditions are not met (such as directly switching to the unloading
gear during high-speed mixing), it can automatically block the
adjustment action and trigger an audible and visual alarm,
protecting core components such as the mixing drive motor and
gearbox from damage.

The mixer truck shift switch follows a humanized design concept,
fully considering the operator's work habits and operational
convenience. The installation position of the switch is
scientifically planned to fit the operation layout of the mixer
truck cab (near the steering wheel or on the center console),
allowing operators to complete operations without significantly
adjusting their sitting posture; the design of the knob or lever
conforms to ergonomic principles, with a comfortable hand feel and
moderate force, facilitating operators to quickly apply force and
accurately locate the gear during operation.
Full Working Condition Adaptability, Ensuring Stable Operation in
Complex Scenarios
Construction scenarios are diverse and complex. Mixer trucks need
to operate continuously under different temperature, humidity, and
dust conditions, putting strict requirements on the adaptability of
the shift switch. By optimizing the internal structure and material
selection, the shift switch has excellent full working condition
adaptability. It can work stably in a wide temperature range of
-40℃ to 85℃, effectively resisting high-frequency vibration and
impact during construction, and avoiding adjustment failures caused
by environmental factors.
