Clearing the field of view: Flushes blood, mucus, stool, and other debris from the camera's view during procedures such as colonoscopy or gastroscopy.
Supporting endoscopic ultrasound (EUS): Rapidly fills parts of the gastrointestinal tract with water to improve ultrasound imaging.
Controlled irrigation: Uses a microprocessor-controlled peristaltic pump with multiple flow settings to provide consistent water flow while helping prevent excessive pressure in the endoscope.
