Working Principle
The HZD1202 cable identifier works by injecting a periodic
single-polarity voltage pulse signal into the cable through the
transmitting host.
During testing, the far end of the cable needs to be connected to
ground to create a current path. The injected signal generates a
return current through the earth, forming a detectable current
loop.
The transmitter and receiver use GPS time synchronization
technology to precisely control the signal transmission cycle and
interval, allowing the system to distinguish the target signal from
external interference.
The receiving host detects the direction and characteristics of the
current flowing through the cable using the flexible coil. By
analyzing the detected signal characteristics, the instrument
determines whether the tested cable is the target cable.
