    The TOMUU U23D is a high-precision 24V DC linear actuator specifically developed for solar tower heliostat tracking systems. It provides controlled low-speed linear movement for positioning heliostat structures in concentrated solar power (CSP) applications.

    With a rated push and pull load of 40,000N, a maximum static load of 55,000N and IP66 protection, U23D is designed for demanding solar thermal positioning applications.

    Designed for Solar Tower Heliostat Tracking

    Solar tower heliostat systems require controlled movement to adjust mirror position throughout the tracking cycle. The actuator works together with the heliostat structure, mounting geometry and control system to provide the required linear positioning.

    U23D combines high load capability with controlled low-speed movement for solar thermal tower applications. When the heliostat stops moving, the actuator also remains part of the positioning structure, so both operating load and static load should be considered during actuator selection.

    Actual actuator requirements depend on the heliostat structure, mounting position, stroke, installation geometry and project operating conditions.

    The U23D minimum installation dimension is based on 200mm ±2mm plus the selected stroke, with stroke defined as S ±2mm.

    Stroke and mounting dimensions should be confirmed according to the heliostat structure, available installation space and required adjustment range. For CSP projects, installation geometry should be evaluated together with load and movement requirements.

    TOMUU U23D linear actuators have been applied in the heliostat tracking system of the Anduo Tushuo CSP project in Tibet, China, located at approximately 4,650 meters above sea level.
