Description
CloudEngine 16800-X4 is the Data Center Switch of huawei
CloudEngine 16800 series, supporting V300R020C00 and subsequent
versions, suitable for data centers and enterprise core networks.
Hardware configuration and structure: The chassis adopts a
horizontal plug-in board installation method, with the main control
board (MPU) and interface board (LPU) integrated on the front, and
the switch network board (SFU) vertically inserted on the back. The
key components include:
Slot distribution: Supports 4 interface board slots (1-4), 2 main
control board slots (5-6, 1:1 hot backup), 9 switch network board
slots (1-9, supporting N+M redundancy), 6 power module (PM) slots,
and 3 fan module (FAN) slots; The exchange network board needs to
be mixed with the same model. The G series supports four network
board modes (only slots 3, 5, 6, and 8 are available), while the H
series supports eight network board modes (only slots 1-8 are
available).
Power supply and heat dissipation: Supports AC/HVDC or pure DC
power supply, 6 pluggable power modules, recommended N+1 backup;
Fan module hot backup, ventilation and heat dissipation, front and
rear air duct design.
Physical specifications: The dimensions (including packaging) are
770mm × 1150mm × 730mm, and the weight (excluding packaging) is
approximately 94.1kg (AC/HVDC version), with a full weight of
224kg. Installation must comply with A812/A612 cabinet standards,
and the chassis height is 9.8U
