The drum scraper dryer is an internal heating conduction type rotary continuous drying device. The rotating drum is adhered to a film of a thickness through the lower trough, and the heat is transported to the inner wall of the drum through the pipeline, and is conducted to the outer wall of the drum, and then the feed film is transferred, so that the humidity in the film is evaporated and dehumidified. The moisture-containing material is dried. The dried material is scraped off the drum by the scraper attached to the surface of the drum, to the screw conveyor placed under the scraper, and the dry material is concentrated and packaged by the screw conveyor.

Product Working Principle

DDD series rotary drum dryer flaker is a continuous indirect heating drying processor. The dryer body consists of rotary drum heated by steam, applicator rollers, scrapper and exhaust hood. Liquid raw meterials are fed onto the rotary drum from the top. With the kneading effect of applicator system, raw materials are evenly spread onto the heated surface of rotary drum. Moisture evaporates very quickly. Drying process is done within a single rotation of the drum and the dried product is scrapped off with the knife.

DDD series rotary drum dryer flaker with its continuous indirect drying method, allows short heat retention time while evaporating all the liquid within a single rotation of the drum. It not only virtually eliminates the risk of damaging the product but also enables the product to keep its unique properties like taste, smell, texture etc. Drum dryer is unique for drying viscous, pasty and sticky materials in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Product Features

1.High heat efficiency: The heat transfer of the cylinder dryer is heat conduction and the conducting direction keeps identical with operation circle. Most of the heats can be used for evaporation of wet materials on the wall the cylinder. The efficiency can reach 70-80%.

2.Flexible operation elasticity and wide application: Various drying factors of the dryer can be adjusted, such as concentration of the liquid, thickness of material film, temperature of heating medium, rotating speed of the drum, and etc. These factors can change drying efficiency of the cylinder dryer. As these factors have no interrelations each other, it brings great convenience to dry operation and makes it applicable to dry different materials and meet different production requirements.

3.Short drying period: The drying period of materials is normally 10 to 300 seconds, so it is suitable for heat-sensitive materials. It also can be pressure reducing operated if it is put in vacuum vessel.

4.Fast drying rate: The thickness of the material film on the wall of the cylinder is very thin. Normal, thickness is 0.3 to 1.5mm. The directions of heat and mass transmittal are identical so the evaporation strength on the surface of material film can be 20-70 kg.H2O/m2.h.
