Specification
AZ31 Magnesium alloy is the most ductile and the most popular
amongst AZ wrought alloys (Mg-Al-Zn group).It is soft, and offers
good combination of strength and ductility
The AZ31 alloy can be made into magnesium tooling plate.
It is made for easy cleaning, with wide variety of chemical
treatments exists for corrosion protection, alteration of surface
appearance, and to provide a base for painting.

Application
Application in medium strength service at temperatures below 150C.
Diverse uses including aircraft fuselage, concrete tools, cell
phone, camera, notebook computer cases and textile machinery.
In addition, due to its low mass density and good mechanical
properties, this structural material offers considerable potential
for the aircraft manufacturing industry. So it is used in the
aircraft industry to produce flat parts with ribs, such as
brackets.
