Description

DCL-Ex05 explosion electric actuator can set turning angle up to 340 degree. Actuators are widely used in environment with explosive gas, such as Ethylene, Ethanol etc. Cylinder stop type connection surface of each housing cover complied to UL standard flame proof gap and length. The processing quality of flame proof surface is the key process to ensure explosion grade, so the machining tolerance range must be smaller than UL standard requirements. Thus, every explosion body or cover from supplier is strictly tested by DCL before assembling.

DCL actuators use self-designed motors that is non-ventilated and full enclosed with high start torque. Due to the very compact size of actuator, the temperature rise of motor must not be high during heavy duty operation, to make sure the outer shell’s temperature will not go beyond 135℃ or 300.6F.
