Nasopharyngeal Airway is designed to be inserted into the nasal passageway to secure the patient's airway remains clear who requires medical attention during the treatment and transport. With the device in place, the patient's tongue cannot drop back and occlude his/her airway, keeping it clear so that the patient can breathe.

It can be used safely on unconscious patients, and provide access for suctioning and bronchoscopy easier, safer and less traumatic. The device is a simple and effective airway adjunct designed for easy insertion and maximum patient compliance.

Caution:

1. Pay close attention to whether the nasopharyngeal snorkel is blocked by nasal secretions,

Method of Use:

1. According to the actual situation of the patient, choose the appropriate type of nasopharyngeal airway,

2. Open the package and remove the nasopharyngeal airway,

3. Check the appearance of the nasopharynx,

4. The curved part of the nasopharyngeal airway is placed in the nasal cavity facing the hard palate, and is pushed down to the hard palate with the plane of the humerus until it encounters resistance in the posterior wall of the nasopharynx,

5. After the nasopharyngeal airway is inserted to a sufficient depth, if the patient coughs or resists, it should be retracted 1-2cm,

6. Then fix the distal end of the nasopharyngeal airway to the nose.
