T2-76/86/101/116 double tube core barrel for Coring Samples
T2 series core barrel comprises of a core barrel head, inner and
outer tubes, extension tube, core lifter, reaming shell and core
bit. Different types of lifters, reaming shells and core bits need
to be selected according to the application and geology.
The T2 series is a range of components which produces 42, 52, 62,
72 and 84mm cores suitable for medium to hard geology. Water or
polymer flush is required.
Designed for use in conjunction with metric casing the thin wall
double tube core barrel is easily converted to a triplex system
with the addition of a Coreliner for increased core recovery.
These core barrels have a relatively small cutting area and
therefore permit rapid penetration, especially in harder rock
formations. Also the thin wall barrels and core bits produce fewer
cuttings which permits the use of lower flush velocities resulting
in diminished sample disturbance.
