The brief: The golf club was looking to install a new gold standard buggy storage building in an enquiry which dated back to 2017.

Challenges
The main challenge was to conduct the work, from planning application to groundworks and building, whilst the golf course continued to be active. It was essential to ensure that the golf course members were kept safe and secure from moving machinery and that the build site and its environs were kept clean and tidy throughout.

A secondary challenge was the inclement weather that was happening when the work began, making the groundworks more difficult.

What worked well
The new building was supplied and installed with an electronic roller shutter door and double PA doors. The PA doors were installed with coded entry to allow members to access the building securely. The clients opted for clear gable end sheets to allow plenty of natural light into the building without the need for skylights in the roof to reduce the risk of condensation drip.
