The ATMEGA88A-AU is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller unit (MCU) with a
flash memory of up to 8 Kbytes. It has 32 I/O lines, 32
general-purpose registers, and a 32-bit internal bus. It also
includes an 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter and a 4-channel 8-bit
PWM output. It is powered by an 8-MHz internal RC oscillator and
runs up to 16 MIPS. It is suitable for automotive and industrial
applications, as well as for embedded applications.
