▌ Product description
The outer layer of the FTP CAT5e shielded twisted pair is wrapped
with aluminum to reduce radiation, but it cannot completely
eliminate radiation. Shielded twisted pair cables are relatively
more expensive and more difficult to install than unshielded
twisted pair cables. Similar to coaxial cable, it must be equipped
with special connectors and corresponding installation techniques
that support the shielding function.
However, it has a higher transmission rate, which can reach 155mbps
within 100m, which is higher than the corresponding UTP. FTP
network cables usually support Ethernet LANs.
Cables are designed and manufactured with twisted-pair or
multi-pair core wires with an integral foil shield wrapped around
the assembly. Wrapping the core wires together and covering them
with a foil shield helps reduce crosstalk and EMI.
