Ni201 pure nickel is a silver-white metal with a density of
8.9g/cm3 and a melting point of 1453C. It has excellent corrosion
resistance because the surface is oxidized at room temperature to
form a dense and strong protective film; pure nickel has excellent
welding performance and processing performance, it can be processed
into products such as tubes, rods, wire sheets, strips, and foils.
Pure nickel materials have good corrosion resistance in NaOH
solutions of any concentration and temperature and molten NaOH
above 400C. Pure nickel materials have good corrosion resistance to
Na2O2, Na2CO3, NaHCO3 and alkaline solutions or molten liquids
containing KNO3. Used to manufacture chemical equipment such as
pipes, heat exchangers, evaporators, heaters, reactors, etc.;
targets for various coatings; electrodes, etc.

Pure nickel is particularly resistant to alkali corrosion and is
relatively stable at high temperatures or in molten alkali, so it
is mainly used in the alkali production industry. At room
temperature, nickel is extremely stable in seawater, salt
solutions, and organic media (such as phenols, alcohols, etc.). It
is not resistant to inorganic acid corrosion and is unstable in
acetic acid and formic acid.
