Plastic Perforated Plate Packing

Plastic perforated plate packing has similar structure with metal structured packing, which can be divided into plate packings and wire gauze packings.

 

The materials used for the filler are polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and reinforced polypropylene.

The surface of the packing is pressed with a special stripe, and the selection of the packing is based on the operating conditions. The corrugated plate is an improved corrugated plate. The corrugated plate shall be installed vertically parallel to the longitudinal axis of the container. The corrugated direction on the plate is 30°-60° with the length direction of the plate. The ripples on the same corrugated plate are parallel to each other; The corrugations of the adjacent plates form an intersection.

 

When the fluid flows in this part, it moves up and down, which helps to coalesce, float up or settle the dispersed phase droplets, and greatly improves the processing capacity and separation efficiency. Plastic perforated plate packing is mainly used in oil and water separation process in oil fields and refineries.
