The Beckhoff EL1008 is an 8-channel digital input EtherCAT terminal module designed for industrial automation control systems. It collects 24V DC digital switch signals from field-side sensors, proximity switches, limit switches, photoelectric sensors and other on-site discrete devices, converts physical switching signals into standard EtherCAT bus data, and transmits real-time signal status to the upper PLC controller. It realizes distributed on-site signal acquisition, connects field equipment and the industrial EtherCAT field bus, and is widely used for digital signal detection, equipment status feedback, switch value monitoring in automated production lines.
