Eddy Current Separation Technology
Eddy Current Separation (ECS) utilizes the electrical conductivity differences in materials for efficient sorting. The system employs high-rotation permanent magnets that generate alternating magnetic fields. When electrically conductive metals pass through this field, induced eddy currents create opposing magnetic forces that repel non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper) from other materials like glass, plastic, and rubber.
