Furnace Gas Diffuser with Refining System
This advanced refining and purification system transforms standard induction furnaces into high-performance metal processing units capable of replacing traditional ladle refining furnace (LF) functionality.
System Operation & Technology
The system integrates furnace top gas protection and furnace bottom argon blowing to create a comprehensive refining environment. During heating and smelting, microscopic argon bubbles are injected through the furnace bottom. As these bubbles rise, they create negative pressure zones that attract and capture harmful gases and impurities suspended in the molten metal.
The captured contaminants migrate to the metal surface where they interact with high-efficiency refining agents, enabling rapid degassing, sulfur and phosphorus reduction, and inclusion removal. Simultaneously, top argon blowing forms a protective curtain that isolates the molten metal from atmospheric contact, creating an "argon vacuum" atmosphere for enhanced purification.
