Requirement/Limits:

Producers and importers must issue warranty documents for unused goods produced or imported for consumers in a clear, plain and readable manner in an understandable language in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation.

The warranty document to be given to consumers must contain the following information:
a) The title, address, phone and other contact information of the manufacturer or importer company and the signature and stamp of the official,
b) The title, address, phone and other contact information of the seller and the signature and stamp of the official,
c) Invoice date and number,
ç) Bandrol and serial number, if any, with the type, brand, model of the goods,
d) Date and place of delivery of the goods to the consumer,
e) Warranty period (not less than 2 years)
f) Maximum repair time,
g) Information that all of the goods, including all parts, are covered by the warranty for the duration of the warranty,
ğ) Information on the electable rights provided to the consumer in Article 11 of the Law,
h) Information about usage errors,
i) Information that consumers can submit their applications regarding complaints and objections to consumer courts and consumer arbitration committees,
i) Other rights, if any, provided to the consumer.
