Based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, the flowmeter operates by detecting electrodes installed perpendicular to both the tube axis and magnetic lines. As conductive liquid flows through the measurement tube, it cuts magnetic lines, generating an induced electromotive force proportional to flow velocity.
