The NX8420 is designed using CMOS technology, with a 192KHz sampling rate digital audio receiver
The NX8420 is a single-chip CMOS device that receives and decodes one pair of four pairs of stereo digital audio data according to IEC60958, S/PDIF, EIAJ CP1201, or AES3 interface standards.
The NX8420 has the ability to perform comprehensive control through optional control ports in software mode or optional pins in hardware mode. The channel state data is assembled in a buffer, making it easy to read and access.
The NX8420 is packaged in SSOP28 and its target applications include A/V receivers, CD-Rs, DVD receivers, multimedia speakers, digital mixing consoles, special effects processors, set-top boxes, computers, and car audio systems
