Operating Principle
This equipment utilizes integrated hydraulic and heating systems to facilitate rubber vulcanization under precisely controlled conditions.
Pressure Application: Hydraulic cylinders generate precise pressure to ensure complete mold cavity filling, minimize air bubble formation, and produce dense product structures.
Temperature Control: Heating platens utilize steam, heat transfer oil, or electric heating to elevate rubber compound temperature, promoting molecular cross-linking and transformation from linear to network structures.
Automated Operation: Modern systems feature PLC and touchscreen controls for automatic degassing, pre-compression, vulcanization timing, and mold opening sequences.
Operational Sequence
- Place unvulcanized semi-finished product into the mold between heating plates
- Introduce hydraulic medium into cylinders, activating plunger to push movable platform and compress mold
- Introduce heating medium into heating plates
- After achieving set temperature and time parameters, discharge hydraulic medium, open mold, and remove finished product
