pt4115e is a continuous on-mode induction step-down converter that effectively drives single or multiple connected LED. in series from voltage sources higher than the total LED chain voltage The device operates from an input power supply between 6 v and 50 v and provides up to 1.5 a of externally adjustable output current. the pt4115e comprises a power switch and a high-side output current sensing circuit. the high-side output current sensing circuit sets the nominal average output current using an external resistor, and a dedicated dimming input receives a dc voltage or a wide range of pulse dimming. apply a voltage of 0.3 V or less to the dim pin, turn the output off, and switch the device to a low current standby state.
