Navigation Grade MEMS IMU with 3-Axis Accelerometer & Gyroscope
Composition and Function
The inertial measurement unit integrates multiple precision sensors and processing components:
- Three-axis gyroscope for angular rate measurement
- Three-axis accelerometer for acceleration measurement
- Three-axis tilt angle sensor (optional)
- Temperature sensor for environmental compensation
- Signal processing board with advanced algorithms
- Robust mechanical structure
- Comprehensive software suite
The system measures three-axis angular rate, acceleration, and tilt angle of the carrier, then outputs compensated data (including temperature compensation, installation misalignment compensation, and nonlinear compensation) through an RS-422 serial port using standardized communication protocols.
