DFB principle:

  The basic principle of fiber lasers is to pump light into a section of active fiber (generally erbium-doped fiber or erbium-ytterbium fiber and other fiber doped with rare earth elements), so that the active fiber will have a gain in a certain wavelength range (erbium-doped fiber is usually around 1550nm), if there is a certain frequency selection structure on this section of fiber, then the laser output can be achieved.


  The Distributed Feedback (DFB) fiber laser is a type of fiber laser. Its grating is distributed in the whole resonator, that is, a phase-shift grating is written on the active fiber, and only one grating can achieve light feedback and wavelength selection, so that it has better frequency stability.
