Samples and Limits: This device can test monolithic batteries containing chemistry using metal ions of electric vehicles.

 

A monolithic battery with metal ion chemistry is used in the test to measure the pressure that is applied to the appliance's shell when the battery vents as a result of a problem. to assess the battery's case's casing strength.


Test Principle: Increase the pressure using a booster pump, watch the pipeline-connected pressure sensor, and immediately report the pressure measurement. To make the sample's initial pressure approach 2070 kPa 10%, the control system regulates elements like electric valves and pressure-regulating valves. Then use an aperture with a diameter of 2.85±0.05mm to push the standard amount of air through the mechanism. Within 30 seconds, it falls to 70 kPa.
