Micro end mills, is end mill with very small diameter, smaller than 4mm, many micro end mill diameter is smaller than 1mm. Tip for using micro end mills:

    Control the change of cutting depth to avoid sudden load. Especially for the corner part, the load of the end mill will increase along with the increase of the cutting depth. Therefore, it is necessary to increase a pre-processing procedure to make the cutting depth of small-diameter end mill uniform.The cycloid tool path can effectively balance the cutting depth. However, compared with linear feed, the tool path of cycloid tool path is longer and the processing time is also longer. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the cutting conditions to offset the extended milling time.
