This IP68-rated digital suspended solids sensor utilizes infrared absorption technology at 870 nm wavelength with a 5mm optical path. The sensor provides precise measurements for suspended solids (g/L), turbidity (FAU), and sludge blanket detection (% IR transmission). Temperature-regulated optics ensure measurement accuracy across various operating conditions.
Measurement Capabilities
For suspended solids measurement, the sensor is directly calibrated using actual sludge samples. In turbidimeter configuration, it measures from 0-4000 FAU (Formazine Attenuation Unit) using Formazine calibration solutions.
