CE Durable Standard 20ft Mechanical Container Lifting Spreader

      The spreader is a device used to lift containers and unitized cargoes. The spreader used for containers has a locking mechanism at each corner that attaches the four corners of the container. A spreader can be used on a container crane, a straddle truck and with any other machine for lifting containers. The semi-automatic spreader is designed for handling 20ft and 40ft ISO containers with single or double boom cranes, in ports or on ships. The twistlocks are activated by landing and lifting the spreader out of the container by the crane operator. They are also used under mobile harbor cranes and as spare (backup) spreaders. No hydraulic or electrical system is needed.
