1. Main Application  

The pipe slitting machine is used to make slots in the collecting pipes for condensers. It has the advantages 

of high positioning accuracy, fast running speed, and clean slotting face. The collecting pipe 

automatically moves forward through the positioning

 clamp. The pipe slitting machine automatically slots the pipes and discharges the finished ones. 

Slotting of 1 pipe takes 3 seconds.There are 2-6 slots made per pipe or otherwise

 required by the customer. 

2. Main Characteristics of Slitting Machine 

The driving system employs a straight-line guidance rail, a ball screw, and a servo motor. The 

electrical control system includes a PLC controller and a touch screen. The collecting pipe 

positioning device is comprised of an arc iron and a patch. There are 2-6 pipes slotted per time. 

The slot quantity and slot-to slot distance can be set up through the numerical control operation

 interface.The accurate slotting process starts from the automatic feeding of the aluminum pipes, 

which avoids inaccurate data caused by manual feeding and improves slotting accuracy and 

speed. The width and depth of the slot is accurately controlled. Slotting of different pipes are 

available by changing the arc fixture block.
