BH series thermostat / Miniature thermal protector / Rechargeable battery thermostat

BW & BH series protectors provide protection against over-current and over-temperature conditions. They feature sealed construction, small internal resistance, no noise, and automatic reset functionality. When current passes through the temperature and current-sensitive bimetal, the bimetal's status changes due to over-temperature or over-current conditions, either cutting off or switching on the circuit. BH series protectors are safer than standard protectors, as there is no temperature effect lag under sudden high current conditions.

BH series thermal protectors are effective, reliable security protector and alarm devices, widely used in various types of 1.5 horsepower motors, lighting devices, inverter welding machines, switch power supplies, rechargeable battery packs, fluorescent lamp ballasts, portable power tools, electric appliances and other electrical equipment to prevent over-current and over-heating caused by abnormal work status. Enforced types that can withstand pressure of 3.5MPa are suitable for built-in installation of plastic coated motors.

H20, H21 series universal and enhanced protectors with large metal casing are composed of thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact points, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable. In case of abnormal operation, when the environment temperature increases to the set value, the bimetallic parts perform quick action, open the contact points, and disconnect the circuit. When the device cools to safe operating temperature, the contact points automatically close and normal operation resumes.

H20, H21 series is applicable to rechargeable batteries, ballasts, massagers, micro motors, transformers, electric tools, heating electric appliances and instruments.
