Single core, flexible cables, for use in photovoltaic installations. Cross-linked LSFOH Halogen free, Flame retardant, low smoke insulation and sheath.

Standard: VDE-AR-E 2283-4
Conductor: Class 5, tinned conductor to EN 60228, SANS 1411-1.
Insulation: Cross-linked LSFOH silane grafted. Halogen free, Flame retardant, low smoke.
Sheath: Cross-linked LSFOH silane grafted. Halogen free, Flame retardant, low smoke.

Voltage Ratings of cable:
U0 – 600 V, between conductor and earth.
U – 1000 V, r.m.s. value between any two phase conductors.
Um – 1200V, highest r.m.s. system Voltage.
Maximum DC voltage 1800V (conductor-conductor, unearthed system, unloaded circuit).

Temperature Range:
Ambient temperature : -40 °C to 90°C (25 year life)
Conductor temperature: 120 °C max.
Short Circuit temperature: 200 °C for 5 sec.

Characteristics:
Insulation: 0.5mm minimum wall thickness
Sheath: 0.5mm minimum wall thickness

A separation layer is used between the insulation and sheath, to allow the sheath to be removed without damage to the insulation.
