The crosshead moves upward or downward at a constant speed until the specimen breaks. In this mode, users need to input the speed (mm/min) and the break ratio (%).
2.Fixed displacement:
The crosshead moves upward or downward at a constant speed until reaching the defined position. In this mode, users need to input the speed (mm/min), holding position (mm), and holding period (sec).
3.Constant load speed:
The crosshead moves upward or downward at a constant load speed until the specimen breaks. In this mode, users need to input the speed (N/min) and the break ratio (%).
4.Fixed load:
The crosshead moves upward or downward at a constant speed until reaching the defined load. In this mode, users need to input the load speed (N/min), holding load (N), and holding period (sec).
5.Constant Strain Inc. Rate:
The crosshead moves upward or downward at a constant strain increase rate until the specimen breaks. In this mode, users need to input the speed (%/min) and the break ratio (%).
6.Constant Stress Inc. Rate:
The crosshead moves upward or downward at a constant stress increase rate until the specimen breaks. In this mode, users need to input the speed (MPa/sec) and the break ratio (%).
7.Constant Stress Inc. Rate - Constant Strain Inc. Rate:
This method is suitable for testing metallic materials (iron, steel, etc.). Most standards for metallic materials specify that before the material yields, the constant stress increase rate must be used; after yielding, the method must switch to the constant strain increase rate until the specimen breaks. In this mode, users need to input the constant stress increase rate (MPa/sec), constant strain increase rate (%/min), and the break ratio (%).
