Machine Process Chart :

PROCESS:

To produce the plain section gaskets, rubber tubes – already cut to length – are stretched onto mandrels. Loading and unloading of the tubes onto the mandrels is done quickly by a special unit and without any particular skill being required.

A knife carriage travels along the tubes, cutting the rings to the required length, either with slotting tools or circular knives.

The use of the most modern servo-technologies makes the mandrel machines even more versatile: knife penetration speed and carriage advance are fully free-programmable – for optimal processing of materials with different characteristics.
