Ferro Silicon Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of iron and silicon. Ferro Silicon is made by electric furnace with the raw materials coke, quartz (or silica) and iron scrap. Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferro silicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking. Application: 1.Ferro silicon (fesi) Used as deoxidizer and alloying agents in the steel industry. 2.Ferro silicon (fesi) Used as nucleating agent and spheroid zing
