Product Overview
Thermal bimetal strip consists of two or more layers of metal or alloy bonded together, with different thermal expansion coefficients. This composite material changes shape in response to temperature variations. The high expansion coefficient layer serves as the active layer, while the low expansion coefficient layer acts as the passive layer. For applications requiring high resistivity with similar thermal sensitivity, an intermediate shunt layer can be added between the two primary layers to achieve specific resistivity control.
