Equipment Setup
- Instrument: HEF-301 eddy current tester
- Probe: Pencil probe with frequency 50k-500KHz
- Test Block: Aluminum block
Step-by-Step Operation
- Select "DISP." and set "Disp.Mode" as "Line"
- Select "PARA." and configure frequency, filter, gain settings
- Select "DEB." and set probe gain and driver parameters
- Select "OTHE." and adjust Y/X Ratio (2.0-5.0 for pencil probe)
- Set center point using arrow keys and confirm with Enter
- Place probe on defect-free area and perform balance calibration
- Adjust phase to align shaking signal horizontally
- Proceed to testing by scanning cracks on the test block
