According to different molding processes, FRP gratings can be
divided into pultrusion FRP gratings and molded FRP gratings.
Squeeze FRP grille
The extruded FRP grille is mainly composed of three parts:
Load-bearing material: mainly composed of pultruded "I" profile or
"T" profile
Connecting profile: its function is to connect load-bearing
materials, mainly various round rods or special-shaped rods formed
by pultrusion
Spacer profile: its function is to adjust and fix the void ratio of
the glass fiber reinforced plastic grid, mainly using extruded bars
Use pultruded "I" profiles or "T" profiles as load-bearing rods,
use various pultruded round bars or special-shaped rods as
crossbars (connecting rods), use adhesives, and connect the
crossbars and load-bearing rods at a certain distance The rods are
fixedly connected together to form an FRP grid.
Molded FRP grille: Spread glass fiber roving on a large metal mold
at the same time, cast thermosetting resin, and then cold-cured it
once. After demolding, the molded FRP grille can be obtained.
According to needs, the upper surface of the molded grid can be
sealed with glass steel plate during production, forming a
structure with a grid on the lower layer and a flat plate on the
upper layer.
