Designing, producing, and supplying inkjet fine art canvas is a form of art in and of itself. There are so many variables that make it a very difficult process. It is for this reason that few fine art canvas manufacturers exist and that problems with supply are common. For printmakers, a lack of diversity means that inconsistency with canvas supply is inevitable. Breathing Color's engineering team, understanding that inconsistency must be eliminated, began a mission over 10 years ago to do just that. We experienced the ups and downs, the inconsistencies, and the unforeseen hardships - and we prevailed.

Microtech Grey Back Art Canvas - a museum-grade poly cotton blend that delivers the purest roll-to-roll consistency and industry leading Dmax value by a wide margin. This canvas has pronounced color that will truly blow your mind. Utilizing our flagship "Chromata White" breakthrough technology, this fine art canvas is  white with grey back yet completely free of Optical Brightener Additives. There are non-waterproof glossy canvas and waterproof matte canvas.
