Description features:Y2EJ series (IP54) electromagnetism-brake three-phase asynchronous motor is derived from Y2 series(IP54) three-phase asynchronous motor.frame number 63 to 225,toally 11 frame numbers.the power range from 0.12 to 45kw,Electrodes number have 2.4.6.8 total 68 specifications.this series motor's power grade,installation dimesion,insulating grade,work mode cooling mode and applic able condition,etc.are all same as Y2 series.The performing standards is JB/T8680-1998The technical conditions of Y2 series(IP54 three-phase asynchronous motor).This series produce according to JB/T6456-1992the technical conditions of YEJ series(IP44)electromagnerism-brake three-phase asynchronous motor.
Electromagnetism brake rating voltage:only frame size 71-100 are DC99V,112-200 are DC170V.

The stator and rotor of Y2EJ series (IP54) electromagnetism brake three-phase asynchronous motor are general ues of Y2 series the attached electromagnetism iron can be excited by direct current,while connect the three phase power
source ,the electromagnetism iron can get energy and occur the magnetic attraction to attract the armature so as to separate the firction surface of disk brake from the static frictionsub-phase and then rotate under the action of magnetictorque,while cut off the electricity,the magnetic iron will also out of power and the attraction of magnet will also loss.then,under the pressure of brake spring ,the armature will contact the disk brake and occurthe friction forque and in the final stop the motor,To change the stator postition after the stop of motor,we can realize the motor stop by releasing device,the proced use is to rotate release screw.two special sliding blocks and make the mutual displacement so as to separate the disk brake from the static frictoion sub-phase.
Y2EJ series electromagnetic-brake motors are improved products on the base of YEJ series . The technical properties of its motor conform to the requirements of Y2 series .The performances of the brake assembly are improved .
Y2EJ can make action promptly when the power of electric motor is off . Quick brake time doesn't exceed 0.15 second for frame sizes 63MM up to 90MM and not exceed 0.2 second for frame sizes 100MM up  to 160MM . This series can acquire slow brake time by changing the connection in the terminal box as per customer's request .
This series have low noise and the braking performance is reliable . The working principle: the electromagnetic-brake motors acquire 198V directcurrent rectified from 220V AC when the power is on . At the same time , the armature is attracted by electromagnet . This makes brake disc ratable and enables motor to run freely . Whin the power is off , the electromagnet loses electromagnetic force . The armature is pushed by the spring and sticks to endshield of the motor immediately , the rotation is stopped therefor .
This series are widely used in machine tools, packaging machinery,woodworker machinery , food processing machinery , chemical engineering machinery , textile machinery , construction machinery , gear reducer and so on.
