Model KCX-1 INSTANT DENTAL HANDPIECE STERILIZER is currently the fastest and most efficient dental handpiece sterilizer combining functions of sterilizing and drying. It thoroughly kills infectious viruses like the staphylococcus aureus, colibacillus, candida albicans, anaerobe, bacilis subtilis var. Niger spore, HBsAg and HIV without damaging the handpiece's service life. This apparatus features safety, easy use and sterilization of dental handpieces 14~22mm in diameter. For suction type handpieces, sterilization can be done after purging3-5 seconds after patient treatment. By sterilizing one handpiece in only 13 seconds, this apparatus can meet the demand of immediate clinical use. It not only reduces the cost of handpiece acquisition. For hospital, but also assures patient safety by eliminating cross infection. The apparatus is really the first choice for dental handpiece sterilization. Principle of sterilization: Laser pump source, the essential part of the sterilizer, is a powerful source are discharge, whose radiation spectrum falls mainly within the range of intense UV-light, visible light and near infrared band. It generates intensive through the plasma obtaining infense energy in the discharge channel within a short time. The intense UV band radiation destroys the cellular structure of bacteria and thus achieves sterilization. The near infrared band thermal effect plays a subsidiary role in the sterilization by coagulating bacteria protein and instantly dehydrating it.
