1. Function
A) Early safety guard: TPMS can directly measure the pressure and temperature of tires, and warn drivers timely when any abnormal sign appears. Relevant measures should be taken to avoid damages at the earliest time.
B) Prolonging tire life: TPMS can keep the normal pressure of tires and prolong its' life. Every 10% under-inflation will reduce tire life by 15%.
C) Reduce fuel consumption: TPMS can keep the standard pressure of tires and reduce fuel consumption. A pressure under-inflation every 0. 21 kilogram per square centimeter will expense fuel 1.5% more.
D) Protecting parts: Driving under non-standard pressure will wear engine underpan and suspended system. Uneven pressure of tire may result in aviation of brake and increasing wear to suspended system. 2. Operational Principle
Sensors inside each tire can measure contained air pressure and temperature, and then transmit this data to electrical signal. Through wireless sending device, the signal will be transmitted to receiver and shown on LCD screen clearly as digitals. Owners can program appropriate threshold values themselves according to actual tire status. The audible and visual warn is activated to take measures in advance when pressure or temperature irregularities are detected.
