Description features:Brown Aluminum Oxide (Brown Fused Alumina) is fused and crystallized under high temperature from mixture of bauxite and other materials, characterized by its high hardness, good toughness and sharp edge in particles. Abrasive tools made of it are suitable for grinding metals of high-tensile strength such as carbon steel, general purpose alloy steel, malleable cast-iron and hard bronze. It also can be used as refractory materials.
White Aluminum Oxide is electrically fused in arc furnace with Aluminum Oxide as raw material. It has higher hardness and slight lower toughness comparing with Brown Aluminum Oxide. It is also characterized by its high purity, ability of self-sharpening, better cutting, less heat emit, higher efficiency, acid and alkali resistance, good thermal stability. Abrasives tools made of it are suitable for grinding High-speed, High-carbon Steel, etc. It also can be used as materials for grinding and polishing, precision casting, spraying and coating, medium body for chemical industry, special ceramics and high-class refractory materials, etc.
